The Callahan Collaborative partnered with our board to create a clear, actionable five-year strategic plan and strengthen our governance practices. That foundation continues to shape our work today. I stepped into the Executive Director role at the end of year two and immediately saw the impact — an aligned board, clear priorities, and strong governance structures already in place. Since then, the partnership has deepened through annual retreats, thoughtful bylaws and policy revisions, and steady executive coaching. For a small nonprofit, their hands-on support in strengthening our systems and documentation has also been transformative. The Callahan Collaborative brings both strategic rigor and genuine encouragement, and we are stronger and more confident because of this work.
